The Beniker Gang

1984 · Movie · G · 87 min · ★ 6.2

Drama

When five kids growing up in an orphanage refuse to be separated by adoption, the only way to stay together is to go on the lam across the country as The Beniker Gang. Arthur Beniker (Andrew McCarthy) is old enough to move out of the orphanage, but he refuses to leave four mischievous kids--Edmund (Charles Fields), Cassie (Jennie Dundas), James (Jeff Alan-Lee) and Ben (Danny Pintauro-"Who's The Boss?")--behind. Financing their escape by writing the nationally syndicated column "Dear Lola", Arthur and the kids create a family from love and an uncanny ability to evade the authorities in this delightful family comedy.
