When JJ (Frankie Nasso) chooses the streets of New York over his foster mother (Cathy Moriarty), he must live by a new set of rules - or risk becoming a statistic in the NYPD’s open case files. Pursued by a street hustler, he seeks shelter in Central Park - only to discover a world ruled by a frightening eccentric (Harvey Keitel). Only one couple (Kathleen Turner and Danny Aiello) have a chance to save JJ - but a dark secret may stop them from fulfilling their vow before it is too late.
