He is joined by a New York gambler Steve Wiley (Dean Martin) who wants to break into singing when they pick up Terry Roberts (Pat Crowley), a pretty girl en route. Once in Hollywood nitwit Malcolm finally meets his dream goddess Anita Ekberg.
