About
If you want an edgier, backstory-heavy Halloween tale with a heavy dose of brutality, you may enjoy this; Not for you if you prefer the original’s mystery, restraint, or lighter content like Silent Night or My Bloody Valentine.
Pros: edgier take on story; intense rampage; unsettling look | Cons: lacks suspense; excessive gore; divisive characters
