The Basement

The Basement tells the story of five teenagers who barricade themselves in the bunker-like basement of their remote rural house after a vicious attack by a mysterious intruder. While attending to their friend Nick who's bleeding out from knife wounds, the teens soon realize they are trapped. The only way out is the barricaded door they came in through. With their parents away for the weekend, no cell reception, and no one around to hear their screams, it's a race against time as Nick's condition worsens. All the while their tormentor continues his assault by relentlessly chipping away at the door. His motive and identity unknown, his resolve to inflict suffering on the teenagers unshaken. Trapped in the dark unforgiving basement, deep-seated tensions slowly unravel towards a shocking conclusion.
