Based on the memoir by Delphine Horvilleur, this heartfelt French dramedy follows young female rabbi Léa Schmoll as she returns to her hometown to lead a new synagogue. After moving in with her atheist psychoanalyst father André, Léa attempts to modernize old traditions, connect with her congregants and find solutions for life's dilemmas both big and small -- all while wrestling with her own search for meaning.
