About
You’ll likely like this WWII survival drama if you want a real-life story of courage and refuge through the Warsaw Zoo, with emotionally heavy moments; Not for you if you dislike bleak Holocaust-era films like Schindler’s List or Boy in the Striped Pajamas, or want a lighter, animal-forward focus.
Pros: true-life bravery; strong lead acting; zoo animals add perspective | Cons: heavy, bleak tone; sometimes misplaced atmosphere; divisive narrative focus
