John Cleese and Dennis Quilley star in this 1982 film adaptation of Peter Nichol's play of the same name. A fictional - and mostly gay - military entertainment troupe of soldiers known as the 'Song and Dance Unit South East Asia (SADUSEA), are tasked with entertaining troops positioned in Malaysia and Singapore during the Malayan Emergency of the late 1940s.
