At the center of the Roman Empire, It was the grandest building on Earth. Built by the infamous emperor Nero, the house was a place of violence, perversion, and the art of ancient Rome. Later on, even the Romans found it too much and built the Colosseum on top of it. Through the history of this strange house, the film searches for the real Nero and glimpses the lifestyles of the Roman emperors.
