Emmy (Sharon Cuneta) and Vince (Aga Muhlach) have been friends since college. While all their friends feel they are meant for each other, Emmy and Vince find the idea unthinkable. Dependable and highly motivated Emmy (Sharon Cuneta) is successful in her business while carefree Vince (Aga Muhlach) is a laid-back playboy who is still struggling to establish his career. Vince continues to date several girls until he meets Elaine (Mickey Ferriols) who helps him appreciate the importance of commitment. But just as Vince and Elaine’s relationship becomes more serious, Emmy and Vince begin to realize their feelings for each other but are too afraid to open up and lose their friendship.
