Anora is a housewife on the verge of a breakdown - until Imogene moves into town. Imogene and Anora become friends and, eventually, more than friends. When Anora's husband finds them, all hell breaks loose, and Anora accidentally shoots him dead. Anora and Imogene then pile the kids in the car, throw the corpse in the trunk and ride off on a "family" road trip to bury Daddy.
