Mission Antarctic is the story of an expedition to the world’s end for Xavier de Le Rue, multiple freeride world champion and former olympian, along with Lucas Debari in search of a new paradise for steep riding. Four years ago Xavier de Le Rue came back from a trip to Antarctic with mixed feelings. Although he had the experience of his life and discovered a new paradise, he strongly believed he only scratched the surface of it. Since then, he has planned on returning to Antarctica with his film crew. Lucas Debari was invited as the second rider to bring another perspective to the trip. Mission Antarctic is a story of navigation, mountaineering, snowboarding, wild life, and unexpected discoveries. 5% of the benefit from the movie sales will be donated to www.antarcticocean.org which is an alliance fighting to preserve the continent wilderness and purity. Mission Antarctic, awarded best freeride movie 2013 at international freeride film festival in Cauterets, awarded best adventure film festival at New York Wild Film festival and finalist of Banff mountain film festival is a TimeLine Missions production in collaboration with Camp 4 collective, starring Xavier de Le Rue and Lucas Debari with an original scoring by Aidan Lavelle and James Carroll.The Follow up from the mission series called Mission Steeps.
