It is 1958, and Miguel a young man from the country goes to visit his father Pablo, a painter in Manila. Discovering that his father has left, Miguel remains in Manila and impersonates his father in order to gain favor with a young, nude model. But the relationship, built on a lie, goes south and Miguel is driven to a startling realization about beauty, lust, love and being true to one's self.
