A lone stagecoach departs civilization on its way to the frontier outpost of Dancers' Rock. What is already a dangerous and fraught journey takes a turn for the worse when a passenger develops the first symptoms of smallpox. Terrified of the infectious disease, the driver abandons the seemingly infected passenger in the desert along with the other five passengers whose fates may already be sealed.
