When Texas cattle rancher John G. McElroy learns that the coming railroad will bypass his property, he recruits fellow ranchers to help him fight the railroad. The railroad executives hire Wild Bill Hickok, Buffalo Bill Cody and Calamity Jane to defend their decision against the rancher and his guerrilla gang, but will the allegiance of these western legends waver?
