About

You’ll likely like it if you want a grim, anti-war look from the German side that follows recruits as euphoria turns into fear and desperation; Not for you if you want a heroic war story like Deutschland 83 or Stalingrad.

Pros: gut-wrenching war realism; strong young-soldier focus; powerful anti-war message | Cons: extremely graphic moments; can feel relentless; some plot pacing complaints
