About

You may like this if you want a quiet, emotionally heavy coming-of-age drama about loneliness, desire, and trying to build a life from scratch; Not for you if you need fast pacing or clear answers, like in The Kids Are All Right.

Pros: emotionally affecting journey; strong performances; moody small-town feel | Cons: slow, languid pace; thin or clichéd plotting; uneven dialogue, character depth
