Elliot Harvey Atkin was a Canadian actor. He was best known for his roles as Morty Melnick in Meatballs and Sergeant Ronald Coleman in Cagney & Lacey, as well as for voicing Sam in The Adventures of Sam & Max: Freelance Police and King Koopa in all three DiC Mario series; The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!, The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario World.
