Biography

Vladislav Tretiak (born April 25. 1952) is considered to be one of the finest ice hockey goaltenders to ever play the game. Playing for the Soviet Union national team and CSKA Moscow, he won 3 Olympic Games gold medals (and one silver) and 10 World Championships. He was elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1989, the International Hockey Hall of Fame in 1997, and is president of the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia.
