Biography
John Otway is an English guitarist and singer-songwriter with two hit records - 1977's "Really Free" with Wild Willy Barrett and the 2002 disco pastiche "Bunsen Burner". He has performed over 5,000 gigs and in 2022 received an honorary doctorate from Oxford Brookes University He has built a sizeable cult audience through extensive touring, a surreal sense of humour and self-deprecating underdog persona.
