Avril Ramona Lavigne is a Canadian singer and songwriter. She is credited with boosting the popularity of pop-punk music, in particular for female-driven, punk-influenced pop music in the early 2000s. Her accolades include 10 Juno Awards and eight Grammy Awards nominations.
