Biography

Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder and a forward for the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Santos, which he also captains. He is known for his dribbling, technical ability, agility, passing, and finishing. Often regarded as one of the greatest players of all time, Neymar is both the all-time top goalscorer (80) and assist provider (59) for the Brazil national team. He is one of the few players to have scored over 100 goals with three different clubs. Official performance data ranked him as one of the top two players in Europe for five consecutive seasons from 2015–16 to 2019–20, ranking as the best player in 2016–17 and 2017–18.
