Biography

Derek Sanderson Jeter (born June 26, 1974) is a former Major League Baseball (MLB) shortstop who played his entire career for the New York Yankees. A career that spanned from 1995 to 2014, Jeter's presence in the Yankees' lineup, highlighted by his hitting prowess, played an instrumental role in the team's late 1990s dynasty. He has played himself in several films, including Anger Management (2003) and The Other Guys (2010).
