Biography
Sam Patrello was an American nightclub and movie comedian best known as a Jerry Lewis imitator. Early in his adult life, Petrillo performed on multiple television shows, most notably The Colgate Comedy Hour. Petrillo joined forces with singer Duke Mitchell to form a comedy act based on Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis with Petrillo imitating Lewis. Together, they starred in the 1952 film Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla.
