Aging punk diva Vera V. (Geraldine Chaplin) arrives in Santo Domingo to direct a cinematic tribute to her mentor, the late Jean-Louis Jorge. Her loyal choreographer Henry (Udo Kier) soon joins the production team, which includes many of her frequent collaborators. But while the Caribbean setting is sumptuous and the musical numbers are grand, mysterious forces begin to threaten the shoot.
