In the Land of Pomegranates

2018 · Movie · 124 min

Documentary

The pomegranate is the fruit of the land, a symbol of rejuvenation. It is also a euphemism for a hand grenade. From Oscar-nominated director Hava Kohav Beller comes a multi-layered documentary about people born into a violent, on-going war: young Palestinians and Israelis, caught in the duality of the pomegranate. Will they embrace each other's humanity, or will they pull the pin on the grenade?
