As the sun's Ultra Flares blanket the Earth, dormant Spark Dolls from the earth and sea transform into monsters. To handle the sudden alien invasion, mankind uses advanced defense machines to form the team Xio. 15 years later, a member of Xio, Oozora Daichi, hears a strange voice mid-combat saying, "Unite..." Before he is vanquished by his foe, Daichi is covered in a radiant light.
