Samadhi: We Are One

2017 · Movie · 59 min

Documentary

An ancient Sanskrit word, Samadhi alludes to the mystical or transcendent union that is at the root of all true spirituality and self inquiry. The saints, sages and awakened beings throughout history have all learned the wisdom of complete surrender of the limited individual self, to that which is beyond name and form. . . Samadhi. While the experience of Samadhi is ultimately something that can’t be conveyed on the level of mind, the film poignantly revisits ancient teachings with the aid of stunning visuals, and a deeply moving soundtrack. The film “Samadhi” is like a finger pointing toward the moon. In order to realize the moon, one must ultimately turn away from the finger, toward one’s inner world.
