Biography

Paul Andrew O’Connor is a stunt performer, coordinator and second-unit director. He began his journey as a champion athlete before moving into the world of stunts and second-unit direction. With a distinguished background as a World Champion and seven-time National Champion water skier, he transitioned from competitive sports into performing live stunts globally before entering the film and television industry. Over the course of his career, O’Connor has contributed to more than 100 film and television productions, steadily building his reputation from stunt performer to stunt coordinator, action designer, and second-unit director. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his stunt and performance work includes high-profile blockbusters such as Iron Man 3, Logan, Avengers: Infinity War, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, and Captain America: Civil War. He also had minor acting roles, including portraying a Mandarin Guard in Iron Man 3 and a Reaver in Logan, as well as performing uncredited stunts across multiple films. Beyond the Marvel universe, O’Connor has taken his stunt and coordination talents to acclaimed shows such as Black Lightning, where he performed stunts and contributed to series including Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Punisher and Loki serve in capacities from stunt performer to assistant stunt coordinator.
