Biography
Gretchen Frances Wilson is an American country music singer and songwriter who debuted in 2004 with the Grammy Award-winning hit “Redneck Woman”. Her music was considered overtly country at a time when the genre was leaning more towards pop. Wilson worked with Big & Rich's John Rich to create “Redneck Woman”, a song that celebrates women who aren't the “Barbie doll type”.
