Biography

Leonard Woodcock is a stunt professional based in the UK, whose career has evolved over more than two decades from stunt performer to head stunt rigger and eventual stunt coordinator. He boasts a versatile and extensive skill set, including boxing, fencing, firearms proficiency, high falls up to 10 meters, blind driving, kart racing, motocross, jet ski, powerboat operation, scuba diving, base jumping, wingsuiting, military training, and stunt rigging supervision. He began his journey in the stunt industry as a performer and progressed into leadership roles; ultimately, he became both a co-owner of StuntFlying, a company specialising in 3D winch systems and rigging, and a stunt coordinator. Woodcock’s credits span high-profile productions. He has served as stunt coordinator on projects such as The Reeds (2010), Sandylands (2021), The King’s Man (2021), The Accolyte (2024), and Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026). In roles as assistant stunt coordinator, he contributed to Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey (2020), The Midnight Sky (2020), Barbie (2023), and Argylle (2024). His stunt-performing and rigging credits include major blockbusters—he was head stunt rigger on titles such as Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), The Martian (2015), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017), and Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018). He also performed stunts in 28 Days Later (2002), King Arthur (2004), National Treasure (2004), Breaking & Entering (2006), Flyboys (2006), 10,000 BC (2008), Wanted (2008), and Attack the Block (2011). Leonard Woodcock was part of the stunt ensemble for Barbie (2023), which received a nomination for Outstanding Action Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture at the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards. He was likewise a member of the stunt ensemble for Robin Hood (2010), which garnered a nomination in the Outstanding Performance by a Stunt Ensemble in a Motion Picture category at the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Awards.
