
Biography
Mónica Lozano Serrano is a Mexican producer and member of the Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences, where she served as president from 2019 to 2021. She also served as president of the Mexican Association of Independent Producers. Her first film as an associate producer was Amores Perros (Alejandro González Iñárritu, 2000), which received several Ariel Awards. Since then, she has produced or co-produced more than 50 films and television series, including Instructions Not Included (Eugenio Derbez, 2013), considered the highest-grossing Mexican film of all time.
