Biography
Tim Lewis (born October 1, 1963) is a British film producer. Born in London, England, his career in the film industry spans several decades, during which he has held various pivotal roles, including unit production manager, co-producer, executive producer, and producer. Lewis began his association with the "Harry Potter" franchise as a unit production manager on "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" (2004) and continued in this capacity through subsequent installments, including "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" (2005), "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (2007), and "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" (2009). He advanced to associate producer for "Order of the Phoenix" and "Half-Blood Prince," and further to co-producer for "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1" (2010) and "Part 2" (2011). His involvement in the "Fantastic Beasts" series saw him as executive producer for "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" (2016) and "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" (2018), and as producer for "Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore" (2022). Beyond the wizarding world, Lewis has contributed to other significant films. He was a co-producer and unit production manager for the science fiction action film "Edge of Tomorrow" (2014), starring Tom Cruise. Additionally, he was executive producer for Disney's live-action adaptation of "Cinderella" (2015), directed by Kenneth Branagh. As a unit production manager, Lewis' projects have amassed a worldwide box office total exceeding $6.3 billion, ranking him among the top in this role. In addition to his production roles, Lewis appeared as a Healer in Portrait in "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix." Tim Lewis leads Pepperpot Films, a production company where he continues developing and producing new projects. One of his works includes the action-comedy "Back in Action" (2025), featuring Cameron Diaz, Andrew Scott, and Glenn Close.
