
Biography
Daniel M. Cogan is an American film producer known for his contributions to socially impactful filmmaking. In 2007, he co-founded Impact Partners, a company dedicated to funding and promoting films that drive social change. He later co-founded Gamechanger Films in 2013, an initiative aimed at supporting female directors. In 2019, he and his wife, filmmaker Liz Garbus, with whom he has two children, launched Story Syndicate, a production company. Cogan graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and also studied at Columbia University's Graduate School of the Arts in its Film Division.
